project.chick is an idea brought about the somewhat timeless question, "Which chick is the hottest?". This question is
naturally never fully answered, as each person has their own views on what's hot and what's not.
With the wonders of modern technology, we may be able to more accurately gauge who (in the popular view) is the hottest.
The technique developed by Jaymz and myself to do this is rather simple. A set of 32 chicks is randomly selected from the global
pool. The end user then goes through a simple bracket elimination system so that 16 chicks are left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1,
resulting in the "hottest" chick in the set ending up on top. This bracket elimination system gives us 16+8+4+2+1 = 31 different
pairs to compare per set.
The power of this system is revealed when you get many users compiling many sets of compared chicks, creating the potential
to have every possible combination to be evaluated by every possible user, giving an extremely accurate representation of
not only individual opinion, but of the popular opinion as well.
