T:V Rules

The following are rules for the 5150 East 1, 5150 East 2 and 5150 East 3 Tribes Vengeance servers.  These have been posted to ensure we make ourselves clear as a team before you enter our servers.   First thing - We know we said these servers would be administrated heavily, but until the full version comes out we're not giving out accounts.   So, if someone is Tk'ing, COME TO IRC.  irc.dynamix.com - Room #5150 - Find FSB-AO, AdreNaLiNe, Vir, sLaM...most any of the 5150 guys will take care of it.  Don't just come into the room and say, "hey there's a tk'er take care of it thx" because chances are, we won't ever see that in time.  Pm us and tell us the Server name and the NAME OF THE PLAYER who is tk'ing.  You'd think this stuff is common sense and that for the most part people have brains and would tell us this stuff.  They don't.   EASE UP ON THE RAPE.  Maps like Isle just seem like a queer fest, nobody cares about the flag...everyone just goes HO.  If it's 5 vs 5 then use your head!  Nobody wants to spend their entire game repairing when there's only 10 people total on the server.  Minimum needed for rape is 8 v 8.   If you are on the passworded server and the generators happen to be down....and as an admin, I see you running around looking at everything that's blown up rather than doing anything about it, you're gone.  You shouldn't be on our servers.  If you're standing next to a blown up generator looking at it as if your stare will magically repair the gens, you will be booted.  I don't know how many people I've seen on our passworded server just stand around and stare rather than simply get a repair pack and press the repair button.   Be courteous to others or at the very least just keep to yourself.  No need to talk a bunch of trash, if you're good then it will show in your play.     In a stand-off (when both teams have each other's flags) both players need to stay outside. This is a pub, there will always be a minimum amount of teamwork and this seems to keep the pace (as well as the fun-factor) up.  This also includes NO O-SNIPING the flag carrier.  O-sniping just makes them want to stay inside with the flag, and that's exactly what we don't want.   No exploiting bugs - This is a simple rule, but if you're caught exploiting a bug you'll be banned.   Both of these servers are meant for veterans of T1 and/or T2.  This isn't really something we can police well, but we'll be able to tell if you belong in the server or not.  If you are new to the game, please stick to our 5150 East 1 server which is meant for the newer/moderate player. Do not be useless to your team. Sure this sounds real snobbish (if not borderline elitist), but this is essential. Team 5150 wishes to invite the best of the best. We want to be known to house the best of competition out there!  If you're not feeling up to the task, you are urged to join our 5150 East 1 server. Do not, I repeat, do not attempt to take-over our servers. Doing so will promptly result in you getting permanently banned from our servers. No teamkilling.  This one is obvious, but there are plenty of people out there who enjoy jumping into a bomber trying to play LD and end up destroying 1/2 their team.  Don't be an idiot and do that.  Vehicles are meant to be used as an effective tool in game, if you are seen being an idiot (i.e. playing LD with a bomber and sucking horribly) you will be booted.  If you jump onto a burner turret (like on cavern) and end up taking out 4 of your own guys like a champ, you'll get the boot.   We just want everyone to understand that we will admin these servers with a heavy hand to ensure EVERYONE has fun.  There are plenty of morons/idiots out there and we have no problem weeding them off of our servers.
